TB Wood’s Sure-Flex Sleeve Coupling Insert, 8HS

The Sure-Flex Plus Split Coupling Size 8 is ideal for compressors, conveyors, electric motors, fans, mixers, and pumps. It has a maximum speed of 4,500 RPM, a torque of 4,530 in-lb, and an outside diameter of 5 1/16 inches. The coupling features a 2-piece Hytrel insert, handles 0.25 degrees angular misalignment, and 0.015 inches parallel misalignment. It provides 7.2 hp at 100 RPM with a torsional stiffness of 30,000 in-lb/rad and operates up to 250°F. The insert width is 2 1/2 inches.
